The cardinal principle of the NSS programme is that it is organised by the students themselves, and both students and teachers through their combined participation in community service, get a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation building.

Speech about the international yoga day and why to practice the yoga every day and the benefits of yoga practice by the honourable guest

The Yoga session started exactly at 8am with the systematic practice of different “ASANAS” like

  • Vrukshasana
  • Ardhakattichakrasana
  • Ardhachakrasana
  • Padahasthashana
  • Gomukasana
  • Vajrasana
  • Ustrasana
  • Shashankasana
  • Bhujungasana
  • Makarasana
  • Shavasana
  • Pranayama ( part of asana that is bramariasana)

This ASANAS was demonstrated by the S-VYASA Students Mr.GOWTHAM and MISS.SHUBHASHINI.

After completion of yoga session by the students, our princilpal Mrs.yashodha harikumar gave the speech about importance of yoga in our life and also to include yoga as co-curicular activities for students every week.
